Chrystle and I went to a Sand Castle contest in Ocean Shores WA. We had a great time. Its very interesting how they build the castles. Not at all like I thought they would be made. I thought they would build from the bottom up but the bigger more elaborate ones are built from the top down.
This picture is the creating of the winning castle/carving.
This is the completed winning carving.
This is a note worthy creation that didn't quite get off the sand box.
The sand wasn't we enough so it cracked and broke. When you watch the video towards the end you will see a picture in the bottom left corner of what this could have been.
